Very well equipped, upgraded and maintained example in long term private British ownership, you will not be disappointed. Comprehensive summary of the last decades work and cruising history in the specification. “ready to go has just completed a months cruising now back ashore"
Brokers Comments:“This is a stunning yacht that belies her age. She has just been relaunched for the 2023 season and is absolutely a ‘Turn Key’ yacht – ready to sail away with her new owner. We sold this yacht to the current owners over a decade ago and they have nurtured her, improved her and brought her back to us as an even better yacht!
She has benefitted from regular maintenance every year and has had sympathetic & useful upgrades, including a complete wheel and binnacle kit advised and recommended by HR. That was professionally installed (total cost £8,600). It transforms her useability an includes a folding wheel for continued ease of access and generous room within the cockpit area. The original HR tiller arrangement has been kept and is available on board – either for emergency use or to allow a ‘retro-fit’ if desired….”

The condition or level of safety equipment on board is not to be negotiated on following survey. It is likely to be listed by most surveyors but is not structural or an integral working part of the vessel and is not to be used to further negotiate the price down after survey. We strongly suggest that for your own personal safety that when purchasing a yacht you provide new safety equipment rather than relying on second hand gear.
Should you become the new owner of this yacht then the responsibility to re-register or update official bodies for items such as EPIRB, VHF, MMSI or AIS becomes yours.

Cruising HistoryThe first and second owners of the boat were German. One had a holiday home in Croatia and used her for day sailing we are told.
The second had a villa in Lefkas and used her for short trips.
We bought her in January 2013. We used her for holidays while we we still working, and then spent more time on her when we were able. She was used in the Ionian for six years, staying in first Gouvia Marina, Corfu and then Ionian Marine, Preveza.
We then spent four years exploring the Aegean Sea. Keeping her in Aegina for one year, and then in Kilada at Basimakopolous Shipyard for three years. We sailed the Argostolic gulf and the Cyclades. We achieved an ambition of sailing to the most easterly islands of Samos, Leros and Arki before returning to the Ionian in the autumn of 2022.
In the Aegean we adored the islands of Poroa, Sifnos, Serifos, kithnos and Paros, plus Amorgos and Skinhoussa. Although Panacea is smaller than many of the yachts out there, she never let us down, nor did we feel unsafe in her. She is sea kindly and reassuringly well built.
We are very sad to be saying goodbye to her, but we leave with fantastic memories, knowing we explored one of the world's most beautiful places. It's now time for someone else to love her like we have, and enjoy more adventures with her for many years to come, while we devote time to helping to look after our first grandchild.
