"Azimut’s success confirms the strategic role played by it’s team and collaborators who are committed to offering only the best to Azimut's owners in terms of comfort, design and technology." – Azimut Benetti Group vice president, Giovanna Vitelli.
Azimut was founded in 1969, by Paolo Vitelli, a university student who began chartering sailing boats through his company Azimut Srl. This Italian yacht-manufacturing company based in Avigliana, in the province of Turin, later developed into a large elegant yacht builder at the forefront of the industry.
Italy-based Azimut Yachts, an Azimut Benetti Group brand, was recognised at the World Superyacht Awards 2018 for its design work on the Grande 35 Metri.
The first scale work started with a contract at the shipyard of Amerglass, a modern Dutch shipyard producing boats in fibreglass. The company very quickly expanded, initially as a distributor for prestige yachting brands then by designing their own variety of boats focused on the lower end of the market. In 1985 Azimut yachts, acquired the historical brand Benetti, the designer of the concept of the megayacht. The yachts business developed quickly, adding the distribution of sailing boats, motor cruisers and lastly to motoryachts from different makers: British Powles, Westerly, and others. From the late nineties, Azimut Yachts have gone on to become the foremost builder of yachts and mega yachts.
The RangeAzimut Yachts range consists of Six Collections:
The S Collection blends a sporty look with elegance thanks to innovative high-tech solutions and high performance materials.
The stylistic high point of the collection is the dynamic bow cap, while the huge open deck and interior spaces create a sense of space and unrivalled comfort and luxury.
77S - Cruise in luxury or speed through the water in style with the 77S, combining Azimut’s renowned craftmanship with world class performance. The 77S boasts three six-cylinder Volvo-Penta diesel engines, a sleek and dynamic hull, and can reach top speeds of 36 knots. Her interior is luxurious, with four cabins, plus two crew cabins. Whilst being slight enough to gain impressive speed, the 77S is surprisingly spacious and light, with all the grace one would expect of a small superyacht.
S7 - The S7's sleek and sophisticated exterior, combined with her large tinted glass windows, and selection of outdoor lounges, makes her the epitome of contemporary class. As well as luxurious amenities, the s7 also flaunts a near panoramic view of the surrounding sea. The 21.3-meter vessel contains four cabin spaces on the lower deck, which can easily accommodate eight passengers.
This range has been designed for people who want to cruise further afield, without giving up the comfort and elegance that Azimut yachts are renowned for.
Magellano motor yachts were created for long-rage adventures to unknown climates, combining comfort, self-sufficiency, huge storage capabilities, and fuel efficiency. The interior spaces were designed for long stays on board, with welcoming living areas and spacious cabins.
The Magellano 66 is impressively spacious for a 66-foot vessel, providing plenty of room to relax and enjoy long-term living. The interior design is modern yet timeless, with wood paneling and cream-colored furnishings. The boat sleeps as many as eight guests and two crew. Powering the vessel are two 800 hp Volvo diesel engines, with a cruising speed of 16-18 knots and a top speed of 22 knots.
Magellano 43Beauty, comfort, safety, an extensive cruising range, and the ideal hull for long cruises in all sea conditions sum up the Magellano 43. It comes in either the Flybridge or Hard Top version to facilitate cruising in internal waters.
Grande is an apt name for a yacht that offers such huge space, extreme comfort, and unparalleled elegance.

The 95 embodies Italian style, from the fabrics to the design accessories. An expansive and sophisticated design that seamlessly merges with the outside. With double floor-to-ceiling picture windows, the large saloon combines total comfort with the thrill of looking out over the blue horizon.
Grande 120 - At just over 36 meters in length, the 120SL is one of the most extravagant yacht in the Azimut's fleet. Her lavish white and gold exterior is by Stefano Righini Designs and her luxurious interior was designed by Carlo Galeazzi, making the 120SL the epitome of sleek, classic Italian design.
