Ingela is an example of Östlund's talent for combining functionality and elegance in boat building, and it is still admired by boating enthusiasts today.

Ingela is a beautiful and classic boat that measures 31 feet in length and 2.45 meters in width. It is made of mahogany and has a closed cockpit with a front cabin. The boat has a large cockpit with seating for several people and a spacious deck area that provides plenty of room for relaxation and sunbathing. Inside, there is a salon with seating and a dining table, as well as a pantry with all necessary amenities, including a cabin/sleeping area with a portable toilet. The original interior is largely intact and showcases the timeless design of the boat.

A new engine was installed in 1998, a Chevrolet Marine power V8-GMhp 350, which gives the boat a fantastic engine sound, good power, and a speed of approximately +20 knots. Ingela is still a functioning boat and is often used by the owner for leisure sailing and as an example of the Swedish boat building tradition.
