The Skua 42 Tradewind that we offer is fully equipped for long (sea) journeys. The design of M.C. van der Vlis is characterized by good and calm sailing behaviour. The S-truss hull and deck are constructed of steel, but the superstructure and fixed sprayhood are made of aluminum for good initial stability. The cockpit is also pleasant, where there is a lot of shelter behind the fixed spray hood.

The Skua 42 Tradewind that we offer is fully equipped for long (sea) journeys. The design of M.C. van der Vlis is characterized by good and calm sailing behaviour. The S-truss hull and deck are constructed of steel, but the superstructure and fixed sprayhood are made of aluminum for good initial stability. The cockpit is also pleasant, where there is a lot of shelter behind the fixed spray hood. The overall condition of the boat is good enough to sail away. The current owner has lived on board for a longer period of time and has always carried out renovations whenever necessary.

The interior has a cozy salon with petrol imitation leather seats, which gives a beautiful nautical look with the lacquered teak. Upon entering, you will find the wet cell on starboard, the navigation area on port side, and the kitchen with a 3-burner stove, oven, refrigerator and double sink. In the bow on starboard you will find a cabin with a double bed with deep storage drawers underneath. At port there is an extra bed with plenty of storage space. Further in the bow is another cabin with double bed.
