EXTERIOR
The Ocean 34 was designed as an inland craft with coastal capabilities, the exterior of Oceans 11 features safe flat side decks, surrounded by sturdy stainless steel railings. Amidships to port and starboard is a break in these railings for access. To the stern the rear deck is surrounded by a GRP moulding which creates aft deck seating and dodgers. A transom ladder leads down to the moulded bathing platform, the decks are approx. 10” wide and lead forward to a safe and flat foredeck working area. The cabin tops can be used for lounging, a side door is fitted amidships to port. The cockpit is covered by a canopy and has two seats at the helm which is located to starboard. Access to the cabin is to port. The helm is comprehensively fitted with engine and navigational instruments and a chart viewing area.
INTERIOR FROM THE BOW
FORWARD CABIN
The forward cabin of Oceans 11 is designed to be all part of the main saloon in not having a full bulkhead and allowing the V Berths to be used for dining as a table is fitted between the berths. There is a drawer beneath each berth for storage and excellent natural light to this cabin with an overhead hatch and side windows. A curtain is fitted to give privacy when this cabin is used as a sleeping area
FORWARD HEADS/SHOWER
Located to the port side on the same floor level as the galley, the toilet room is fitted out in a light grey moulded design to ensure easily cleaned. Fitted with a washbasin, toilet to waste tank, window and mirror
GALLEY
Situated to starboard with superb amounts of storage in 3 under counter cupboards and 2 over counter, further open shelving to the rear bulkhead. A separate oven, grill and hob unit, Stainless steel sink with drainer, fridge and controls for the water system, immersion heater and water gauge. 240volt sockets are provided for use when connected to shore power.
SALOON
Accessed from the forward and aft cabins and from the exterior by a side door to the port side deck and steps to the aft cockpit. The salon of the 34 is a light airy and comfortable area for all aboard to socialise in, A larger “U” shaped sofa is set to starboard, a coffee table sits in the central area of this, the sofa converts on this boat to a double berth, opposite to port a sideboard unit with four cupboards, four drawers are beneath the sofa and a further large storage or TV cupboard is set to port ahead of the side door. Large side and forward facing windows give excellent natural light.
AFT CABIN
Three steps lead down to the cabin from the saloon, the cabin features a centrally located Island double berth with excellent mattress. To both sides of the bed are storage drawers and 2 ¾ height wardrobes are fitted to port and starboard. An escape hatch gives access to the aft deck and the 12volt and 240 volt switch panels are located in the forward bulkhead. Windows to port, starboard and the transom give good daylight to this cabin.
ENSUITE SHOWER AND TOILET ROOM
Located entirely within the rear cabin to starboard, the ensuite is fully moulded and features a separate walk in shower cubical with moulded shower seat. The toilet, washbasin and vanity unit all remain dry when showering by a shower separation curtain
ENGINE ROOM
Located amidships below the saloon floor with an access panel through the floor to daily service items. The entire flooring and bearers can be removed to gain access to all required items like batteries, calorifier and seacocks. The floor panels are all fully sound insulated to ensure smoothness in the saloon at all speeds.
