The Maxum 1800SR came with various engine options at time of build. They offered it with both inboard or outboard options. The inboard options were either the Mercruiser 3.0lt which was favoured by the competition to keep the cost down or the more expensive but ultimately more desirable 4.3Lt option.

Thankfully this Maxum has the Mercruiser 4.3Lt with the Alpha One drive, making her ideal as a ski boat due to her increased acceleration and planing capabilities at lower revs. The engine has only ever been used on fresh water and it shows. No salty deposits to be seen. The current owner has had her since 2011 but due to work/life commitments she hasn't been used much these past couple of years. He has however kept on top of the maintenance and she has been recently serviced and checked over by a marine engineer. She is mechanically and electrically sound and ready to go.

Helm position is on the starboard side. Engine instrumentation rev counter, speedometer, oil pressure, charging, temperature and fuel. There is a gauge for trim position. Single lever engine control with kill cord and trim button.

Constructed of GRP with topsides and hull in great condition for her 23 years. The hull has never been in salt water so therefore never need to be antifouled. Predominantly trailer sailer it shows in the good overall condition. Hull topsides could do with a little bit of a buff but apart from that she is great.the cockpit back to back seating is in durable vinyl and in good condition. These fold flat to provide two decent sized sun pads. A further two removable seats to the rear either side of the engine cover.Toughened glass windscreen mounted in aluminium frame with split frame access to the bow seating area. Fully carpeted which are starting to show there age but serviceable. Leather trim to helm and copilot dash show signs of sun damage but this is purely cosmetic and could be easily recovered.

Boat comes with an Hallmark Roller Coaster trailer. The hitch was replaced in 2022 and the brakes, bearings and tyres have all been replaced. Mooring tonneau for cockpit and bow.

The Maxum 1800SR is a bowrider with Uni-Max hand-laid construction and a fiberglass bow liner. Thoughtful design and eye-catching style run the full-length of this easy to use sport boat. Seating arrangements are engineered for comfort and function, and the aft seats convert to a sunlounge. The helm has a custom molded console with full instrumentation, and side-mount engine control with a tilt-and- trim switch in the handle.
