Fletcher Boats are designed for British waters. They have been built in the UK for almost 50 years and one or two lessons have been learned along the way. We tend to get short sharp seas in the UK. These can spring up with alarming speed and it's very disconcerting if you find yourself caught in a blow or just adverse conditionsd such as wind over tide. You need to know that your boat can handle the rough stuff and will get you back home quickly and safely. The 17 GTO Arrowstreak has a fast, sleek hull. It is slightly narrower than a lot of the imported boats because it has a true deep v hull - 24 degrees. This enables the boat to realy grip the water as you power through turns and the agressive deep V hull ensures it chops through the rough stuff. It's the equivalent of having a set of wide racing tyres on your car. The 17GTO really does have it all. It is not too big so can still be towed by a normal saloon and only requires a couple of people to launch and recover, yet it offers generous accommodation for up to 5 people. With safety always in mind we provide full length bow rails so there is always a grab handle close to hand.
