About this Dufour Yachts 40 Performance
The Dufour 40 Performance is a spacious and well laid out fast cruising yacht. "Thirty Something" has had two owners from new and lightly used over the years. She is the three cabin, two heads version. Presented in great condition she is a must to view.

Twin double aft cabin, owners fore cabin version offering up to 8 berths in three cabins plus saloon, with 6'3" max. headroom.
Up forward there is a double V berth with seat to starboard, large hanging locker and storage areas. En suite heads compartment to port with shower area, Jabsco marine toilet wash basin and storage lockers.
Moving into the saloon, which consists of a C-shaped seating area to port, large folding saloon table with bottle stowage and settee seating to starboard and lots of eye level lockers for easily accessed storage.
The galley is to the port aft and equipped with an Eno cooker with 2-burners, grill and oven, twin large stainless steel sinks, large refrigerator and ample storage and good work space.
The forward facing chart table is opposite to starboard, with chart storage, navigation equipment and distribution panel.
The second heads is behind the chart table fitted with an Jabsco marine toilet, washbasin, shower and storage. Two double cabins aft to port and starboard are both fitted with hanging lockers and stowage, opening portlight to cockpit.
There is pressurised hot and cold water system throughout via calorifier and immersion heater. Eberspacher diesel heating system. Additional shore power sockets with inverter fitted for power whilst underway. Blue cotton saloon upholstery. Teak and holly sole boards throughout. Oceanair screens on all opening hatches.
Located under the companionway stairs is the Volvo D2 55B, 4 cylinder, 55hp diesel engine. Indirect cooling via a heat exchanger. Sail drive to a Gori 3 bladed folding prop (age unknown on diaphragm). 160 litre fuel capacity. 6.5kn cruising speed. 7.5kn maximum speed. Regularly serviced by the local Volvo dealers.

Dufour 40 built by Dufour in 2004 to a design by Umberto Felci. White GRP hull and superstructure. Teak laid decks, cockpit sole and seats. Hand laminated hull and injection moulded deck. Iron fin keel. Large wheel steering to a spade hung rudder. Self draining cockpit with lowering transom seat for easy access. Hull epoxied in 2017. Last surveyed in 2007 with all recommendations done.
