The Custom Grundel 50 which we offer was originally built in 1970. Her previous owner completely rebuilt her on the basis of construction drawings by Van de Stadt between 2000 and 2015. For example, the complete deck has been replaced for a stainless steel deck (including cockpit / superstructure) finished with a solid teak deck and the rigging plan has been revised and completely replaced and the underwater ship has been modified and fitted with a wave breaking bulb and 9,000kg of ballast placed in the keel. As a result, she is now about 29,000kg and well handled thanks to the twin Ford engines (2015) and bow/ stern thruster. Her deck layout makes her very pleasant for solo/duo-handed cruising, all shots are within easy reach of the helmsman. The interior is spacious and uncluttered with, upon entering, a cozy L-seat to port with built-in flat screen and switchboard to starboard and various storage options.

Further into the bow we come to the galley, with generous countertop, American-style refrigerator and plenty of cabinet space. On the port side is the owner's cabin situated with spacious double bed and en-suite toilet with separate shower stall. In the aft cabins are 2 equivalent cabins with double beds with various closet space and en-suite toilet.

The "Zorra" is a unique ship and very suitable for longer stays on board and/or a circumnavigation of the world, she is currently sailing through the Caribbean and can be visited by appointment.
