SELIKA is one of the most attractive, large, bluewater cats on the market today.
This is a totally custom built Catana 65 (hull #7 of 7 of the Catana 65s) using more than 60% components specifically built for this boat. It is the culmination of several years of time spent on the water perfecting this design. In fact, the owner of SELIKA built an earlier standard version of the Catana 65 and applied his experiences to this completely reworked, custom version.

In doing so, he added no less than 1 million Euro worth of carbon options (carbon decks, carbon bimini, carbon hatches, carbon cockpit furniture...) to build a lighter and stiffer platform. Six tons lighter than the standard version Catana 65 makes for a faster sailing yacht and to the owner's delight, a very reliable one as well. He can push the boat in a stiff breeze without a worry.
SELIKA has a mast, rigging, sails and hardware worthy of a grand prix racer: Lorima carbon mast and boom, two sets of sails including Incidences carbon/kevlar sails (new 2016), Navtec Kevlar rigging, two carbon headsail furlers, all Harken electric winches. The headsails include self-tacking solent, genoa, gennaker, Parasailor and spinnaker. The nav and communications electronics are all Furuno. A total of three plotters: one at the chart table and one at each helm station as well as a full complement of autopilot and nav displays at all three locations. Sat Phone, Sat Broadband and Sat TV keep you in touch offshore.
The interior decor and materials were chosen with similar precision and good taste to create a very contemporary feel. Maple veneers, black corian, white overhead liners render a very relaxed, luminous atmosphere.
SELIKA features 3 guest cabins + crew cabin: a master cabin to starboard aft with a large ensuite, two guest cabins (port aft convertible to two singles) with ensuite and generous crew quarters. The cavernous forepeaks house washing machine and dive compressor on port and sails and dive equipment to starboard. The two engine rooms in the transoms are well insulated and very roomy, allowing easy access to engines, generator, watermaker, Whitlock steering components as well as electric and plumbing components.
SELIKA is powered by twin Volvo D3-150s (new 2016 and 2017) that are shaft driven, making this a true, bluewater adventure yacht that will take you to the remotest locations on earth. The owner recently spent 6 weeks diving the Tuamotus in complete autonomy and comfort.
Two Onan 7KVA generators power the onboard systems with a complementary solar array. The onboard systems include two chargers, two inverters, 50,000 BTU air con, washing machine, four electric heads, high output watermaker 240 l/h.
This beautiful cat has a full time crew keeping it all in top shape. One owner, never chartered and it's ready to go right now.
