1991 Ta Shing Yachts Tashiba 40
Designed by renowned yacht builder, Robert Perry, this Tashiba 40 cutter rigged sailboat with rounded stern and long keel design offers a very stable, fast and powerful sailboat. The interior plan offers comfort for two cruising couples with a double stateroom forward and a guest cabin aft. The main salon has a large dinette with seating for six. The galley, with its Keyhole configuration offers both security at sea and handiness in layout. The joinery work is crafted with painstaking attention to detail. Wood is carefully selected to match both grain and color. The varnish is flawlessly smooth to the touch. Her lines follow ancestry back to traditional Scandinavian double-enders. Under the waterline is a full keel with a cutaway forefoot and as with many of the Perry full keel designs, the keel meets the bilge of the hull without the traditional "wine glass" section blend. The hull shape is beamy offering good interior space. She is beautifully balanced with a wonderful feel at the helm, and what's more, has some of the best interiors to be seen in cruising yachts.
