Owner's Comments
Heidi is a safe long keeled family sailing yacht that is capable of distance cruising as well as day trips around the Solent. She has been sailed to Brittany, Channel Islands, the Dutch Canals, Mull, The Scilly Isles, Strangford Loch and Normandy. On a recent trip across the channel to Cherbourg she easily coped in long rolling seas and gusty conditions. On a ramping reach or clawing close hauled to windward we have found her well balanced and powerful, a delight to sail by any standards. All of our grandchildren have enjoyed sailing with us and learning the rudiments of sailing. Heidi is well equipped with nav aids and an efficient refrigerator which keeps the end of the day Rose cool. Down below the six berth accommodation with its well laid out and airy saloon has provided the ideal focus for relaxed holidays year after year. The large engine bay allows easy access to the newly fitted engine and has plenty of room to fit a generator should one be required.
