Mohito is a really interesting small yacht of 26 feet, but looks and feels more like a 30 footer as a result of a number of ingenious design ideas, with full standing headroom throughout. 

Built by Neptune Yachts, France in 1978/9 to a design by Daniel Tortarola, she certainly has an attractive and stylish appearance, well ahead of her time. A recent survey in 2015 confirms epoxy treatment applied professionally and hull bottom in good condition.

On deck are many design features, which were at the forefront of modern design practice and yacht technology, now with up-to-date reefing and sail handling and more than adequate winch arrangements. Sails are all in good condition, complete with recent blue canvas work.

A new mast by Eurospar in 1992 and Facnor furling, with new rig fitted in 2006 provides for a strong yacht and well selected rig and fittings - all confirmed by recent survey in 2015.

Replacement engine is the Beta fresh water cooled, has been lightly used and regularly maintained.

Electronics are more than adequate, with Lowrance Globalmap 3300, Navman 7100, NASA speed and depth and vhf.

Electronics and electrics have been professionally overhauled, with new panel fitted.

Interior is comfortable and includes all the usual amenities and extras. Also included is a  Seago 230 inflatable dinghy with a Mercury 3.3 hp recent outboard.

Present good condition and progressive replacement of equipment and parts has been down to the current owner, who for the past 15 years has proudly cared for Mojito.

We are now seeking a new owner to enjoy this yacht and, might benefit from the past year of careful ownership.
