Wispa
An electric Deltic weekender by Stelco and originally designed by Andrew Wolstenholme for the Steam and Electric Launch Company.
The genesis of this design was a visit to a German boat show where the customers were bemoaning the lack of a place to make a hot drink and to lie down in the sun. Hence the idea of an electric weekender was born. Andrew Wolstenholme, the go-to designer for all things electric in the nineties and noughties, drew this attractive launch which has stood the test of time.
Wispa has been moored its entire life at an idyllic private marina surrounded by river facing town houses where it has had several caring owners. Now available for viewing at Beale Park boat store in Lower Basildon where she has had a new BSS, antifouling, full valet and is looking very smart. You will find a small Origo cooker, a Portapotti, two berths, a table which can be used inside or in the cockpit where six people can sit in comfort. The helm and main passenger positions are on elevated seats and there is a white vinyl canopy on a folding frame and a nifty folding swim ladder which folds out of the aft bathing platform.
The Stelco ElectroYacht Deltic Weekender is 23 feet long that boasts a 8 feet beam
