MECHANICAL

Yanmar 2YM15 14HP twin cylinder inboard diesel installed new in 2006. Freshwater heat exchanger. 45 litre fuel tank. Saildrive with fixed propeller. Alternator charging to 3 x 85amp/hr 12 volt batteries. Cruising speed under engine is around 6 knots and current engine hours are about 90.

NAVIGATION

Plastimo compass, NASA Clipper echo sounder and log, DSC VHF radio (2015), GPS (2015), AIS (2015), FM/AM radio, tri colour masthead light.

DECK GEAR

Stainless steel pushpit, pulpit and guardwires, new sprayhood and dodgers both fitted 2006, transom mounted boarding ladder, tiller, spinnaker pole, sheet winches and halyard winches, 10kg Delta main anchor with 20m of 8mm chain (2006), kedge anchor, mooring warps and fenders.

SAILS

Slab reefing mainsail with “Pack-a-Main” lazyjack system and mainsail cover by CJ Marine. Genoa roller reefing system with furling No 1 Genoa. Silver anodised alloy mast and boom and stainless steel standing rigging.

DOMESTIC

240 volt ringmain. Solar panel trickle charging to batteries. Her galley has a gas cooker with 2 burners and grill, ice box, pressurised cold water supply to the sink from 135 litre water tank. Separate heads compartment with marine toilet. Blue velour upholstery (renewed 2006), with curtains and carpets.
ACCOMMODATION:
She has 5 berths in 2 cabins including 2 single berths forward, her table lowers to form a double berth and there is a quarter berth to port.

OWNERS BRIEF HISTORY
Amoretto was professionally restored in 2006. At that time she had a new Yanmar engine and sail drive, new upholstery, internal woodwork varnished, new electrics, new running rigging etc. Around £14.5k was spent on her. The next owner replaced the lifting keel in 2013 with a new 8mm galvanised steel plate, he also repainted the topsides in white. Present owner purchased in 2015 and had new instruments professionally installed.
REMARKS:
She is a good example of these popular shallow draft cruising yachts offering good sailing performance and a comprehensive invertory. Her engine was installed in 2006 and has run for less than 100 hours. Her gas system and electrics have been overhauled as well as instrumentation and upholstery. All of the above make this a great buy! A March 2011 survey is available on request.
