Maximum comfort
The starting point of the concept is maximum comfort and convenience. For example, this new boat has a floor entirely on one level. The superstructure is rectangular with straight upright walls, maximizing the living area. The first model, which will have a length of 12.50 meters, therefore has a living area of more than 30 m2 (!) plus a comfortable spacious terrace at the front of the boat. The customer can completely determine the desired layout. And the interior can be filled with furniture and kitchen appliances, as the user is used to at home.
The boat has a steel hull and composite superstructure with a very high insulation value. Furthermore, the Liberty comes standard with central heating and underfloor heating in the bathroom. This and the use of maintenance-free frames with double glazing make the ship very suitable for use 365 days a year.
Sailing comfort
The ship was designed together with Martin Bekebrede, a well-known designer of motor yachts for many years. The good sailing characteristics of a Pedro have also been an important condition in this boat. The underwater hull is designed in such a way that no concessions are made in this respect. And that is a substantial difference from houseboats, for example.
Another special feature is the use of a spud pole system. This allows you, when you have to wait for the bridge, for example, to secure the boat without having to dock. The integrated spud poles sink down at the push of a button and secure the boat in the ground. Convenience serves man.
The boat can be supplied with several propulsion systems. Standard with a Volvo diesel engine, but the Liberty can also be delivered in a hydraulic or electric version.
The model is available in different sizes and is designed to operate in coastal areas. The vertical clearance is 2.50 meters, allowing easy access to many inland waterways with fixed bridges.
