Nautitech 40 Open for sale in Antigua and Barbuda

This well-presented 2020 Nautitech 40 Open has had one owner from new and has always been privately used. Hummingbird has been professionally maintained and meticulously cared for by its owners and comes with a high specification. A number of original factory options and other extras have been added to make her comfortable, safe and reliable for long distance blue water and live aboard cruising.
 

The boat, completed and delivered to the owners in Hamble in 2020, was very lightly used for the first 2 years. In mid 2022, the owners sailed from the UK and crossed the Atlantic with the ARC in November 2022. The crossing was completed with no issues or subsequent repairs needed – testimony to the quality of the Nautitech 40 Open and the high standard of the pre-crossing preparations.
The owners have thoroughly enjoyed cruising the Caribbean and are now ready to return to the UK. Hummingbird is offered for sale in the Caribbean until May 2024 and then will be available in the UK. Hummingbird is UK VAT paid.
This is the 3 cabin ‘Owner’s Layout’. The port hull the owner’s cabin with large double and en-suite heads and shower. The starboard hull has 2 double cabins with a shared heads and shower.
A full suite of B&G instruments are installed -3 x 9” Zeus plotters (1 at each helm and the chart table), 2 x triton displays, AIS, VHF, autopilot, 4G Radar, forward-scan sonar, depth & speed log and wind instruments. Navionics charts for UK & Ireland, Western Europe and the Caribbean are included.
Additional equipment includes flexi-teak in the cockpit and transoms, a 55L keel cooled freezer, a Schenker 60L/hr water maker, electric winch at starboard helm, engine controls at both helms, a washing machine, 1150W solar panels on coach roof, 2KW Inverter, 4KW Fischer Panda Generator and 640 Amp hour domestic batteries.
The sail inventory includes North Sails Code Zero with furler & North Sales G2 Asymmetric Spinnaker with furler – both flown from the 1.4m bowsprit
Hummingbird comes with all the safety equipment that you would expect from an ocean-ready, live aboard yacht including Ocean Safety 6-man life-raft, EPIRB in hydrostatic release, mast-mounted radar reflector, Jonbouy Danbouy and Lifering, MOB recovery sling, additional high-volume bilge pumps, sheets and blocks to rig a boom preventer and a full set of jackstays. The 33Kg Rocna anchor gives confidence and peace of mind in anchorages.
All serviceable items (engines, sails, generator, outboard, rigging) have been professionally serviced and maintained in line with recommended time frames.
Getting ashore is no problem in the Hummingbird’s tender – a Highfield Ultralight 310 with the Honda BF-10 (electric start). The tender is equipped with anchor and light.
