Leopard Catamarans advances the limits of catamaran design. The South African builders Robertson & Caine joined the catamaran market in the year 1991 and modified the seascape of catamaran design, production and creation forever. Humbly beginning by building 5 Leopard 45s for the world’s premier charter company, the team was pleased to find that the yachts were welcomed with exceptional fanfare. The catamarans certified to be so triumphant that another order was placed for 5 more and in less than 4 years, Robertson & Caine delivered their 100th catamaran. Robertson and Caine’s production facility is headquartered in Woodstock, a few kilometres from the Cape Town city centre and the harbour.
The current line of Leopard catamarans has impressed the sailors who were interested in purchasing it for themselves, making their own choice of layout, optional gear and delivery location. Leopard Catamarans has made exceptional marks and developed very quickly over the past decade, growing to be the industry’s leader in the production and delivery of quality catamarans for private and charter lines worldwide. Due to the continued modernisation, innovation and quality, Robertson & Caine continues to be a serious competitor in the international catamaran market, enjoying a powerful position in the significant North American market. It has produced an awesome list of racers and cruisers, adding credits to its name including Boat of the Year 1995, 1998, 2005, 2007, 2010, 2012, 2013, 2017 and 2019. Growing from 40 years of customer feedback, Leopard Catamarans has improved and enhanced to spacious, robust, performance-driven blue water cruising catamarans, producing and delivering over 1,800 Leopard cats all over the globe. Execution, luxury, style, innovation, and versatility are at the core of the design and ethos of the designers, builders and the global team. Right from the initial designs to the manufacturing process, all concepts are at the heart of developing blue water cruising competent yachts that are a delight to sail, easily managed anywhere in the world and aesthetically gratifying.

The Leopard 40 has improvements made and has triumphantly added new characteristics taking into consideration the customer and owner feedback and has reconfigurations done that contribute more space below for added convenience. The Leopard 45 comes with a lounge that incorporates seating area, a sunbed, and a table. The helm station is well protected and integrated into the cockpit. Leopard 50 has 2 exterior configurations with a clever design and a lounging flybridge accommodation never before seen on a Leopard Catamaran of this size. This luxury catamaran stays true to the sleek, smooth and innovative style that has made Leopard Catamarans so popular while contributing unique peculiarities and multiple layout options. Sail Catamaran models:
The Leopard 43 Powercat is the catamaran where no details are neglected during the creation process. Built by Robertson & Caine with exterior design by Simonis Voogd Design, the Leopard 43 Powercat substitutes the Leopard 39 Powercat. It is a completely redesigned mid-sized catamaran created with the quality foundation that has come to be demanded of Leopard Catamarans. The stepped hull design joins interior volume above the waterline, letting more room for accommodation in the hulls without decreasing the performance of the yacht. It reaches an awesome speed of 24 knots and maintains outstanding fuel efficiency that is consistent with all Leopard power catamaran models. Leopard 53 Powercat ushers in the 4th generation with a yacht that emphasises all the characteristics that made her successful. Amidst the ease, stability, space, durability, and efficiency required of a catamaran combined with the ease, efficiency, and luxury of a motor yacht, she is crafted with style without negotiating on performance. She is easy to maintain and operate and is up to 50% more fuel-efficient than her monohull motor yacht equivalents. Power Catamaran models:
