The 34 foot J/105 is a fun and forgiving performance boat that is fantastic to sail. Taika is “ready to sail” and optimised for double handed offshore racing. Full complement of electronics, including a powerful autopilot, a must have for short handed sailing. Taika was one of the very last J/105’s built and has had great joy being sailed as part of the Haven and Combined series the last few years.
 

The J/105 offers low maintenance with a simple layout, has great performance, a large cockpit, predictable handling characteristics and makes no pretences of being a distance cruiser or live-aboard. There is less to maintain as all the extra cabinetry and weight of things you won’t use aren’t there. So instead of varnishing toe-rails and troubleshooting systems you’ll be enjoying a sail with friends.

- Lloyd's approved, aircraft grade AL600 epoxy coated CK57 (6 lbs./cu.ft.) Baltek end-grained balsa laminate construction using polyester resin and biaxial glass fabrics. A vinylester resin barrier coat allows a ten-year hull warranty against blisters.
- White gel coat hull with single (1.50" to 3.00") tapered bootstripe.
- Large sit-in cockpit with 6.5' seats with backrests, suitable for cockpit cushions.
- One lazarette locker and two cockpit seat lockers w/flush spring loaded latches.
