SAZERAC has had only three owners and has undergone a complete refit. She features the preferred Telstar keel option, which includes a cutaway forefoot and a skeg hung rudder. This underbody configuration offers significantly improved speed, safety, and maneuverability compared to the traditional model. SAZERAC is in the best condition among HC43s, boasting low engine hours and multiple custom upgrades, including all stainless steel and aluminum tanks, all equipped with inspection ports.
Additionally, SAZERAC has a unique and highly desired 3 stateroom layout with a pullman master berth (a rarity for a traditional 43). The interior features green Italian marble in the salon and galley, with numerous bronze and brass elements in excellent condition. The boat has been continuously upgraded with custom stainless railings, custom LED brass lamps, and all wood and mechanical systems have been meticulously maintained throughout its life. If you are looking to start enjoying cruising immediately, SAZERAC is the perfect boat for you.
The entire vessel is finished with hand-laid teak and custom bronze, reflecting the finest quality and workmanship. The cabin sole is all teak and holly. There are three private staterooms, one head with tiled ensuite shower. Forward, there is a full-sized extended custom pullman berth with a custom mattress and shelving, 12 large drawers underneath, a full-sized hanging locker, and a marble vanity with Moen sink to starboard. An overhead hatch forward and two overhead hatches aft, plus 5 dorade vents and 14 bronze opening ports, all screened, provide ample ventilation. The head is located forward, just aft of a large sail locker and chain well, and includes 6 stowage lockers, two large teak hanging lockers, and a tiled ensuite shower. The main salon is elegantly appointed with a beveled mirror, green Italian marble table, grey ultra-suede cushions, four large lockers to port, and two large bookcases and one shelved locker to starboard. There are brass lanterns throughout. A spacious and efficient galley with marble countertops is located to the port side aft of the dinette, which easily seats six adults. A comfortable and efficient nav station is to starboard with its own cushioned seat and seat back. The aft cabin to port is a double berth with a seat, 4 ports, hanging locker, bookcase outboard above the berth, and stowage below the berth. The aft cabin to starboard is a single berth with 3 ports, hanging locker, bookcase outboard above the berth, and stowage below the berth. Two opening ports and an overhead hatch provide excellent ventilation. To starboard is the aft head with a marble vanity, an opening port, overhead hatch, Moen Brass faucet, and storage below. There is an abundance of accessible storage and lots of living space aboard, with all water tanks located below the cabin sole.
