This Brabant Grundel has a box keel and no daggerboards. It is a good sailor that sails surprisingly high downwind. The boat has had a complete refit in 2018 in which many things have been renewed. In 2018, a carpenter re-built the boat. The wiring was also renewed and a new switch panel was installed. All valves, drinking water pump with pipe and toilet were also renewed at that time. The boat was then also de-rusted inside and out and painted with a professional paint system. The underwater hull was checked and new pieces were welded in the cockpit. 5 new LED fixtures and 6 new 220V wall outlets were installed.
