3. Sails and rigging

The masthead single headsail rig has a deck mounted mast step with a single spreader main mast, inner and outer shrouds, furling forestay, and a screw adjustable backstay for the main mast. All rigging is in stainless steel. There is a roller-reefing drum fitted on the forestay, a conventionally hoisted battened main with a slab reefing system.
