The design is a replica of a Sennen Cove crabber from 1892 which means she is a solid, stable and capable sea boat. The original working boats fished for crab and lobster off Lands End with trips to the Isles of Scilly in fair weather, this was a harsh environment and these boats were designed and built to withstand everything the sea could throw at them. With inboard engines, a 2 mast lug rig and a large open deck she is a versatile little vessel. Although heavy and solid, the boat is light enough to be towed on the road behind a suitably sized vehicle. In present ownership she has had a thorough refit between 2019 and now, including an engine overhaul and new gearbox, new sole boards and bearers, a new foremast, new wiring and a complete cosmetic refit. She is now in smart and solid condition, ready to be sailed. Length on Deck 22'4" Length Waterline 22' Beam 7'8" Draft 3'   Construction Planked in larch on oak frames. Bronze screw fastened into the sawn oak frames in futtocks, copper rivet fastened into the intermediate steamed timbers. Full length wooden keel. Full length stringer at the thwart level.
