DESCRIPTION

Wooden Ships Comments Designed and built by the first owner in 1974, this was evidently a good quality amateur build. The boat was laid up in a tidal berth and subsequently seized by the yard for non payment of berthing fees. The deck and superstructure was in poor condition and has been removed entirely to leave an empty clean hull. Originally fitted with a gaff rig, a new owner has free rein to put in whatever rig they desire.Wooden Ships Comments Designed and built by the first owner in 1974, this was evidently a good quality amateur build. The boat was laid up in a tidal berth and subsequently seized by the yard for non payment of berthing fees. The deck and superstructure was in poor condition and has been removed entirely to leave an empty clean hull. Originally fitted with a gaff rig, a new owner has free rein to put in whatever rig they desire. The volume of the hull is massive and will offer generous accommodation for the length.   Length overall 26’8” Beam 10’5”   Construction Clinker planked in 5/8” mahogany copper rivet fastened to laminated afromosia frames. Sawn oak floors across the centreline. External iron ballast keel fastened with bronze keel bolts with a centreboard.   Machinery Originally fitted with a Perkins 4107 diesel which is no longer in the boat. Engine beds are in place as is the stern tube, shaft and propeller.         Disclaimer: These particulars have been prepared in good faith from information provided by the Vendors and are intended as a guide, Wooden Ships cannot guarantee or warrant the accuracy of this information nor warrant the condition of the vessel.
