The Compass 47' Designed by Angelo Lavranos, built in South Africa in 1991. GRP hull and superstructure. Centre cockpit. Fin keel and skeg. Cutter rigged sloop (new 2009 Selden) mainsail with slab reefing + lazy jacks. Roller furling genoa. Accommodation for 5 persons in three cabins, Perkins 82 h.p. and generator diesel. Suitable for offshore sailing and cross ocean cruising. Well equipped and in a very good condition, she is comfortable, strong, and fast. This Compass 47 won the Cape to Rio race 2000.

She is located ashore in Preveza (Greece).
