Boat Details

If you are looking for a rugged and ready for anything motor boat, then look at this Channel Island 32 offered for sale now.

Practical Boat Owner said in Sept 2023 - This Nelson-derived Channel Islands 32 is a tough, sea-kindly, twin-diesel, Displacement motor yacht that is ideally suited to long open sea passages or River & Coastal exploring at 6 knots with a top speed of approx 8 knots dependant on sea state & weather.

An ideal choice for those who take their motor cruising seriously, she includes a set of drying out legs which combined with her long keel that is deep enough to keep the propellers clear of firm ground if drying out is required.

This Alan Buchanan designed model was first introduced in 1979, the deck arrangement was altered to provide a larger cabin in 1988, Hull number 91, Navigator enjoys the increased accommodation.

A dark blue hull, strong varnished hull rails which deflect spray and encourage lift and the workmanlike black rubber toe rail protection enhances her traditional workboat looks and does the job.
