Marie Lee started as an unfinished hull by Buddy Cannady in 1978 that sat a long time in a tobacco warehouse in Southeast Virginia until the seller purchased the hull in 2004 and finished in 2006. The hull is glassed with West Epoxy and 20oz. tri-axel cloth. The decks are all polyester glass with D-cell core. The console is Juniper with West System and 1808 cloth. The boat was powered in 2006 with a single 2005 Yanmar 315hp diesel engine, ZF 63A 2 t 1 gear.
