DESCRIPTION

Stunning restored classic Broom river boat with original engine - one of a kind

Lady Louise is a rare classic boat built by Broom (Norfolk) in the late 1950s.  She is stunning and is one of a kind as she still has the original Johnson outboard engine.   This boat was used by the wardens at Minsmere nature reserve in Suffolk (where the BBC series Springwatch is filmed) for over 50 years and has been restored by a skilled Cambridgeshire boat builder in 2022/2023 which has been a labour of love.   She looks stunning in high gloss mahogany with all original fittings.   The interior is so beautiful and retro.  The only addition is an electric start button and the safety feature of a ‘kill cord’ so that the engine turns off in the event the driver leaves the boat.

This looks so much like a Riva from Lake Como! It attracts attention and admiration wherever it goes and is a work of art. So sad to see it go. We can deliver in England for the cost of the petrol and include a road/launching trailer.  Please contact me for a viewing/test drive (we are able to launch from Jones Boatyard in St Ives, Cambridgeshire).
