Boat Overview
The Guernsey 28 features superbly stylish traditionally inspired lines, a high-quality finish, and comfortable cruising. It is a highly desirable option for week-long cruises, sociable day boating, or luxurious fishing. This particular model, named Oliver, boasts a very high specification including:

Freshly serviced and presented in good condition, the Cummins diesel engine and shaft-driven design offer easy maintenance, economic cruising, and speed when needed. Accommodation
The well-appointed interior provides comfortable accommodation with:
- Two double berths in the lower cabin
- Option for a further double berth in the wheelhouse
Forecabin
Offset double berth with shelves, storage areas, lockers, opening portlight, and an opening hatch to the foredeck.
Aft Cabin
Large double berth located beneath the cockpit sole with excellent access due to the open-plan lower cabin arrangement. Curtains or a folding door can easily be added for privacy.
Heads
Separate compartment to starboard with:
- Jabsco marine toilet (with holding tank)
- Stainless steel washbasin with combined showerhead
- Storage
- Opening portlight
Saloon
Steps with louvered doors lead up to the light and comfortable wheelhouse saloon, which includes:
- Helm position to starboard
- L-shaped seating area to port with an adjustable folding leaf table (can drop to form a double berth)

- 2-burner gas hob

- Practical moulded worktop with glass cover to the hob and sink
The interior features solid timber and real wood veneers, with cotton upholstery (new 2014), and teak and holly effect soleboards throughout. Pressurized hot and cold water is supplied via a calorifier with an immersion coil, and a 61L holding tank is equipped with a gauge, electric pump out, and deck pump-out facility. Diesel-fired warm air heating system.

The Guernsey 28 offers excellent external space with:

Mechanical Systems
Located beneath the wheelhouse sole is a Cummins Mercruiser QSD 4.3 6-cylinder 320hp turbo diesel engine. It is:
- Freshwater cooled via heat exchanger
- Equipped with single lever controls and electric start
- Shaft drive to a 4-bladed bronze propeller with stainless steel protective skeg
- Hydraulic wheel steering
- Adjustable trim tabs
- Bow and stern thruster
The engine has been professionally serviced and is ready for the 2021 season. The current engine hours are 313, equating to optimum low usage of approximately 25-30hrs per season. The versatile hull design allows for comfortable cruising at displacement speeds or a fast cruising speed of around 14kts, with a maximum speed of 18-20kts depending on loading and other factors.

Construction
The Guernsey 28 was built for Arvor by Delphia Yachts in 2008 to a design by Jacek Centkowski. It features:
- Blue GRP hull
- Off-white superstructure and decks with moulded non-slip surfaces
- Coppercoat applied beneath the waterline in 2014
- Teak cappings and detailing
- Large self-draining aft cockpit with folding aft seating and simulated teak sole
- Walk-through transom and removable side deck access panels
- Large teak-laid bathing platform with concealed swim ladder
