In the year 1968, Dan Atwood and his father Ray’s Pro-Line fishing boats began life with modest roots by building fishing boats for the local guides. Their very first Pro-Line boat was bought by a local charter guide named Captain Sam Pecorina. In the year 1970, Pro-Line shifted to a new facility in Homosassa, Florida with additional developments taking place in the following years and the company made its first trade show presentation in 1972 at the International Marine Trades Exhibit and Conference in Chicago.
The company advanced and developed Fibreglass Integrated Structural Technology (FIST), which took place of wood to allow them to produce lighter boats with fewer maintenance requirements. Pro-line traded Sam Pecorino’s original Pro-Line in the year 1997, a year filled with nostalgia as the fully functional craft was kept as a museum piece to be used in the succeeding promotional events. Pro-Line boats won several fishing awards like Captain Chris Chase’s victory in the Southern Kingfisher Association Angler of the Year title. It came under new ownership with John E. Walker becoming CEO in 2009 and the following year saw the organisation’s relocation to the state of the art waterfront facility in North Carolina. The three boat brands - Pro-Line, Donzi and Baja, became different entities as the American Marine Holdings ended in the year 2012. It hasn’t been an easy journey for Pro-Line, but through commitment, enthusiasm, dedication and the dauntless pursuit of delivering the best quality boat for the best value, it has continued to furnish families, professional anglers, guides and many others with the boats of their desires.
Pro-Line pays attention to its customers and with their valuable feedback it delivers the best-designed fishing boat for their hard-earned money. What started out as a small company building fishing boats for local guides has grown to become one of the largest fibreglass fishing boat companies in the world. Pro-Line has been satisfying your every fishing need since 1968, offering the best value at the best price in the market. If you are looking out for a boat that combines fun and fishing for you and your loved ones, Pro-Line is the answer. So, wait no more and select from the many Pro-Line boats for sale listed at www.rightboat.com to experience peace-filled fishing days and enjoy gathering more memories with your loved ones.
