You do not have to make any concessions with the Donkycompared to the space in a boat with an aft cabin. All versions offer amazing living space. In addition, the large windows in the saloon provide plenty of light and a very spacious effect.
The steering position gives you a good overview of the boat, while you keep in touch with your passengers in the saloon and kitchen. The saloon is at floor level with the open cockpit; ergonomically very comfortable. From the open cockpit the wide gangways are easily accessible.
