We love the UK's answer to the Dutch sloops which are appearing everywhere these days. Understandably however as they give their owners plenty of comfortable seating, a cover for rain or sun and a reliable engine for day cruising. Whether or not they can be classified as contemporary classics is a moot point. Some do have a more classic feel to the design while others are definitely more contemporary.

How lovely then to be able to sell our customers a range of UK built contemporary classics where the hull is of low maintenance GRP and the decks and internal finish is either varnished mahogany or the latest eco-teak as it is known where you get the unvarnished wood look with a guarantee of years of maintenance-free cruising. All are fully electric with a full day's cruising range and on board charging.

The Mayfly 16 designed by Andrew Wolstenholme for Creative Marine has proved a popular six seater and is a very cute boat. The one you can see here is ready to go with an aft pram hood and in a very attractive cornflower blue with a price tag of £35,000.

The big sister offers seating for up to 12, a choice of canopy or bimini, cushions, navigation lights etc and we currently have three in stock from £45,000 depending on propulsion and finish.
