The raised coachroof with centre cockpit provides excellent visibility sheltered from the elements and the double forward cabin, aft cabin, and converted saloon provides ample space for the crew. Construction

Finnsailer 29, built-in 1972 by Fiskars AB (Finland) to a design by Angus Primrose.

Solid Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP) laminate hull with long Keel and fin/skeg rudder. Combination solid GRP laminate and GRP sandwich construction deck/superstructure moulding incorporating decks, wheelhouse superstructure and aft cabin. Sloop rig with coachroof stepped mast and wheel steering. GRP wheelhouse supporting canvas covers that enclose the centre cockpit. Steps forward from the wheelhouse to the main cabin with galley to port and dining area opposite. Heads compartment forward to port and V berth in the bow. Steps aft from the cockpit to twin berth aft cabin. Engine and fuel tanks under the wheelhouse/aft deck sole. Water tank under the V berth.

The Finnsailer 29 is a sturdy, seaworthy, and comfortable motor sailer, with a traditional style hull, attractive cruiser stern, and a very spacious interior. She is well-finished both inside and out and the layout, good headroom, and facilities make this an ideal yacht for coastal distance cruising, or even living aboard. The shoal draft (only 1 metre) allows for shallow water coastal cruising and exploring estuaries, rivers, and inlets.
