Salterns Stag 28 for sale in Kos Greece

‘Talisman’ is an example of the rare Stag 28 MKII, built by Emsworth Shipyard in 1978. Hull number 44. UK flagged vessel.
Powered by a Beta Marine 16hp inboard diesel engine which was new to the boat in 2004, she can sleep 5 in the forward cabin, saloon and quarter berth and boasts 6'4" headroom throughout.
She is a well cared for example of this solid and well finished yacht. The boat benefits from recent upgrades to her electronic equipment, including B&G Vulcan 9 chart-plotter and radar system. (2022)
She was re-launched in Feb 2024, with fresh antifoul, anodes, deck paint, engine filters, engine & gearbox oil and laundered sails.
This yacht is ‘ready to sail’, with no real ‘to-do’ list attached. 
Sails are Flew Sails and are in good condition, with many years of life left in them.
The Stag 28 has excellent sea-keeping qualities, keeping a balanced helm in heavy weather. She is particularly good to windward, and will happily sit at 35 degrees to the wind. She has a 2-point slab reefing system on the main and a Plastimo furler on the bow, all in very good condition.
Inside, she is spacious for her LOA, with ample stowage space, teak and mahogany interior trim in great condition for her age. She boasts an ample galley on her port-side, chart desk and good size heads, with draining floor.
Talisman has serves as a fantastic ‘pocket cruiser’ liveaboard for her past two owners. She makes a very comfortable ‘off-grid’ liveaboard boat, with a 125L Plastimo fresh water tank, 2X 100w Solar panels charging 400Amph AGM batteries. She is able to go long periods at anchor, without a need for port or marina visits. She benefits from a new (2023) anchor, chain and windlass system. 
Currently lying in KOS, Greece. Schengen zone allowance re-setting in March 2024, giving another 18 moths inside the EU.
