The new PTS 31 appeared for the first time in public at Hiswa in Amsterdam in September and is now available exclusively in the UK through HSC and Eboatique. Inspired by the clean lines of the Petterssons of the nineteen thirties this boat moves up from the popular PTS 26 into another realm. It is massively spacious both in the cockpit and the cabin with two neat quarter berths enabling sleeping for four as well as a spacious loo and galley. I particularly love the opening transparent transom on this model which gives it the feel of a mini superyacht.
Two examples of this boat are available to view in the water at the builders Statement Marine in Schagen, Holland. Fly with Gillian to Amsterdam for the day and experience this head turning launch for yourself. There is a wide choice of Steyr engines with the additional option of a short range electric drive for motoring silently on the inland waterways.
