How does Rightboat.com work?

We bring buyers and sellers together by matching members preferences with boats available, we speed up the process by alerting buyers and sellers whenever we have a potential match, we do this by managing a vast database of boats for sale.

History

Rightboat.com was created in 2006 by two friends who were frustrated by functionality of existing boats-for-sale website. It was started with a determination to become the quickest, easiest place to buy and sell boats on the Internet. To achieve this we use a mix of innovative ideas, industry knowledge, dedicated team and passion to create the ultimate visitor experience.

We launched with 10 of Europes largest European brokers as members, since then we have increased our members each year by 500%.

Technical Achievements

We strive to be at the forefront of the market by embracing technological advances in marine advertising.
The following list is a sample where we have led the field:

  • Rightboat.com was the first to launch the unique Ghost Boats feature!
  • Rightboat.com was the first to launch the Multi Broker listing feature!
  • Rightboat.com was the first to launch a faceted search system!
  • Rightboat.com was the first to launch a free valuation service!

In April 2009 we added our intuitive 'Recently viewed boats' - a fantastic unique new service for visitors to be able to see the last four boats they have clicked on from anywhere on the website.

Your Feedback Counts!

As mentioned earlier, Rightboat.com was formed out of frustration that our competitors did not respond to feedback and suggestions. At Rightboat.com we love to hear your comments (both good and bad!). Please feel free to send us your suggestions.

Dealer Packages

Dealers, you'll find that our membership packages are not only highly successful at generating boat sales, but also provide you with an attractive showcase that can be used to power your own website. Our website will also focus on promoting brand awareness for your company, providing you with a total marketing solution.
