"Toucan" is Class 1 British Registered and has had four caring owners since she was first registered in July 1988.  She was in second ownership from February 1991 and third ownership from April 1994.  The previous owners participated in the Atlantic Rally for Cruisers (ARC) 1996, finishing thirteenth overall, winning her handicap class and collected the Hallberg Rassy Trophy for the first Hallberg Rassy on corrected time 1995.
The current owner purchased her in 1998, and lived aboard full time until 2014 while undertaking a leisurely circumnavigation.
