This popular Swan, hull #54 is a Rolls Royce under the sailboats, heavily built while maintaining good sailing characteristics, sailing comfortably in swells. In the Caribbean she performs well, particularly with a breeze of 15-20 knots. She will be able to maintain a good average speed in sea conditions of at least 6 knots. Trimming is crucial, particularly pay attention weather helm and setting of the traveller.

Now being retired and having his home in Belgium it is time leave the Caribbean behind and sell the boat.

I bought the boat in Milford, Connecticut in 2007, she had not been used for 2 or 3 years. Previous owner tried to repair the teak deck.
In 1998 a new engine (Yanmar 4JH2 DTE) was installed.
Other works have been done on the boat by the previous owner but there is no record.
In June 2007 after I bought the boat I started a refit, mast, engine, navigation equipment.
Test sailing in Long Island Sound.
In 2008 we completed the refit and sailed the boat from New York to Trinidad, via Bermuda, St Maarten and Guadeloupe.
A complete new teak deck was installed early 2009 at Powerboats by one of the best carpentry shops in the region. To date the teak holds our very well.
Boat stayed in Trinidad until end 2009 and was then sailed to Panama.
Boat stayed in Panama until 2017 of which the last 3 she was laid up on the hard in Shelterbay Marina under shrink wrapping.
In July 2017 we sailed her from Panama to Aruba, via Cartagena and Santa Marta.
In February 2018 we sailed her from Aruba to St Maarten.
In July 2018 we sailed her from St Maarten to Trinidad. She was laid up at Power Boats from August until February 2019
In 2019 from February until August we made various trips out of Trinidad to the various East Caribbean Islands.
Early August 2019 lay up again at Power Boats Trinidad.
