1m rear skirt added by Lucas Boatyard, BrittanyRemarks : This Jeanneau Sunshine 36.5 has been modified and prepared for blue water sailing. Designed by Tony Castro she has a fin keel, tiller steering, Yanmar 24hp shaft drive inboard engine with a 2 blade propeller. This design enjoyed excellent wins in cross Atlantic races and was built in series from 1982. 'Cool Daddy' was built in 1983 in an era when Jeanneau's were laid up with generous amounts of GRP to the hull and deck area so she is very strong and agile when at sea. The owners of 'Cool Daddy' have prepared her for long voyages so she is self sufficient. She has the addition of a large rear skirt that gives excellent performance under sail and makes loading and boarding the dinghy safe and practical. Owner's Comments This Jeanneau Sunshine 36.5 is an excellent sailing yacht with the perfect balance between speed and comfort under sail. The sprayhood design is a special feature and offers maximum protection and safety. This boat is in good condition and would suit a couple or a small family planning to cruise or embark on a long voyage. She has sailed the Atlantic, Mediterranean, across the Bay of Biscay, the Channel, North Sea, Scotland and Irish Sea. 'Cool Daddy' is now ready for new adventures.
