'City of Eustis' was commissioned by the seller in 2016 as a comfortable cruising boat for their retirement, but a change in personal circumstances has resulted in the boat being put up for sale. Named after a small city in Florida, she has all the character and features of a classic tug style narrow boat with a contemporary fit-out to the seller's specification. The engine was also completely re-built in 2018 and the hull blacked, anodes replaced in 2019 before the boat was moved to the Great Ouse river system where she has a current EA licence valid until 31/3/2022. Construction
Welded mild steel construction by Reeves Ltd - 10mm base plate, 6mm hull sides, 4mm cabin sides, 4mm cabin roof.
Hull re-blacked and new anodes fitted in 2019.
Exterior - hand painted topsides, deck and roof, pigeon box, brass port hole windows, brass mushroom vents, two sets of side doors, forward and aft doors with hatches, stainless steel water tank, mild steel holding and fuel tanks.
Interior - spray foam insulation, concrete slab ballast, WPB plywood floor with Karndean laminate, Ash and Oak veneered ply linings and hardwood trim.

Accommodation
Ladder steps from the foredeck lead to the saloon with a pull-out double bed located under the deck, a pair of free standing leather chairs and foot stools, a multi fuel stove on a tiled plinth, fitted galley style kitchen with base units and bespoke shelving, oak work top and breakfast bar,  stainless steel sink/drainer and mixer tap, 12v fridge and LPG cooker. A walk-through bathroom featuring a full sized quadrant shower cubicle with waterproof board panelling, Calypso wall unit with basin and mixer tap, Thetford cassette toilet. A passage way with full height storage unit leads to the engine room with steps to the aft deck, good access to the engine, stern gear, batteries, electrics and calorifier tank.

Engine
SABB 2JHR 2 cylinder 30hp diesel engine coupled to a shaft drive via a Hurth HBW 250 gearbox with traditional gear and throttle controls mounted at the helm. The engine was completely re-built in 2018 and a new prop fitted in 2019.

Thetford flush cassette toilet (holding tank fitted), Hardy 4 multifuel stove, Stoves DTI500 LPG cooker, Shoreline 12v fridge, single coil calorifier with 1kW immersion heater, automatic bilge pump, Whale gulper shower waste pump, CO and smoke alarms, wall mounted TV, fire extinguishers and blanket, tunnel light, navigation lights, horn.
