The Bridge and Cockpit1992 President 445
The Bridge is quite large and offers excellent visibility. There is a full enclosure for dealing with inclement weather and protection. There is a single Captain's Chair positioned appropriately for the Captain to reach radios and electronics gauges and the intercom system. There is a very large L shaped settee that sits 8 adults and a second small settee for another adult. The bridge has its own Clarion AM/FM/Satellite/CD player separate for the main salon and cabins. The helm is well laid out and features two GPS/Chart plotters, radar and an auto pilot.
Head down the stairs to the large aft cockpit where you will find plenty of room for comfortable seating and a great place to keep water toys. There is a swing door for access to the ladder to the swim platform. Also, you will find a wet bar with bottle holders, a refigerator/icemaker and a sink for all of your entertaining! Down the port side takes you to the folding gangway that easily deploys to the dock for easy boarding access! Access to the cabin is though a large sliding glass door which also has a sliding screen for cooler, bug free evenings when the air conditioning is not required!
Salon1992 President 445
As you can see from the pictures, the salon is quite large with a wrap around settee that faces the flat screen and the entertainment center. The salon is thoughtfully decorated and has a great deal of storage space on shelves and under the sofa. One very cool feature about this boat is that there is a full set of controls hidden in a built in cabin. When the boat was originally built , they set it up so that if an owner wanted to finish it out with a wheel and throttle levers, you would have an inside helm. The generator and the engines can be started from this area and can also be monitored from here while under way. There is a forward stair case down to the galley, the dinning area and the forward cabin. There is an aft stairway down that leads to the Master Suite. This is a very comfortable place to hang out!
Dining and Galley1992 President 445
Down the forward stairs, you will find the large galley on your right and the dinning area on the left. The galley is well designed and offers a ton of storage for utensils, pots, pans, and glassware. Additionally, there is a two burner glass cook top and a large microwave/convection oven so you can sharpen and show off your culinary skills! The stainless steel refrigerator/freezer is full size and offers great space for keeping things cool! There is plenty of counterspace for the coffee maker and for prepping and there is a double stainless steel sink for washing and cleaning!
Across from the galley is a very attractive dining both and custom table with an anchor inlaid in the middle. The benches are plush and super comfortable with additional storage underneath!
Guest Stateroom and Head1992 President 445
Forward of the galley, you will find the guest stateroom and head. The head has two doors, one into the galley/dining area, and one into the stateroom. The stateroom has a queen size bed with storage under the bed and a full size hanging closet! There is a small wall mounted flat screen T.V. viewable from the bed. There are also open storage shelves to the port and starboard sides of the bed. The door on the port side leads to a well appointed wet head with a great shower system. There is a stainless steel sink with storage underneath and an electric john. All in all, these accommodations are very comfortable!
Master Stateroom And Head1992 President 445
Down the aft stairs off the salon you will find a gorgeous Master Stateroom with stunning woodwork all the way around. The queen size bed is the center of the cabin with complete walk around access. Storage abounds both left and right of the bed as well as overhead. There is plenty of dresser space. The bed faces an entertainment center on the forward bulkhead with a flat screen TV and stereo, again with lots of storage. For the lady of the house, there is a vanity on the right side of the bed as you face it with a pop up mirror and cosmetic storage area. This can also be used as a desk area or computer work station. This Master stateroom is quite large and very well decorated. The Master Head has a separate shower area, good storage and a main electric head. There is also counter space surrounding the stainless steel sink. Captain Kidd would be very pleased with these accommodations!
Engine1992 President 445
The salon carpet folds back to reveal a number of panels that can be removed to allow for a great ability to work comfortable on the engines when needed. The area is clean and dry and has a center deck area between the engines for standing. Below this deck are the four large batteries, easy to access but out of sight. On wither side of the deck are the Caterpillar 3166TA engines that have had there 1000 hour service. Fuel for these 300 H.P. engines is delivered from two 185 gallon Bomac 5052 aluminum fuel tanks that were replaced in 2006. Forward of the port engine is the fire suppression system. Aft of the engines is a cabinet door that houses the Mas Power Diesel generator that produces 11 KW of power. The engine room is well organized, clean and dry!
Brokers Comments1992 President 445
I was pleasantly surprised when I boarded this President!
Her wood work is beautiful and the entire boat is in great shape, especially for her age.
The Taiwan workmanship is evident through out the boat. She has a number of great features that I have mentioned already. The only things that need work are respooling the tender crane and painting the bottom of her hull.
Call for a showing. I think you will be pleased.
