Designed by CSJ Roy and built in c.1981 as a capable coastal cruiser, she boasts advantageous twin keels for shoal and tidal cruising as well as having good cabin accommodation.  The accommodation and layout is favourably comparable to many boats of 24’, lending itself particularly well to a "one couple plus" usage, with the fore cabin nicely private behind a solid bulkhead doorway and leaving the saloon for socialising.

SILVER CROWN has a safe, well-appointed deck with good grip underfoot.  She benefits from a boom-roller reefing mainsail which, together with the roller furling headsail, makes sail adjustment both simple and flexible.  Designed to handle coastal passages in safety and comfort, yet equally suited to creek-crawling owning to her modest draft.  Safe and simple to sail.
