DESCRIPTION

Westerly Typhoon - Just reduced down to £39,950!

A well-equipped example of this popular and quick cruising yacht from Westerly, offering good build quality and performance with well-appointed accommodation.

Please call us on for further details or to arrange a viewing.

Accommodation:

Spacious accommodation finished in teak. The majority of the accommodation areas have been re-lined.

Saloon with settees to port (U-shaped about the table and straight to starboard), with a centre-line leafed table. The additional hatch option, supplementing the standard over-table hatch, is fitted.

Forward-facing, dedicated navigation station with chart table, dedicated seat, instrumentation, and electrical distribution boards alongside.

Forward cabin with a conventional V-shaped double berth and private hand basin, while the forward heads compartment has been used as a large hanging locker space with the toilet bowl and associated plumbing removed. All skin fittings and valves have been retained, and the current owners would be happy to reinstate this if required.

Aft cabin with a generous double berth, offset to the starboard side. This enables a good sole space and seating to port with standing headroom, together with a vanity unit and hanging locker. An additional hatch has been fitted to starboard, supplementing the opening windows to the cockpit well.

The Typhoon's accommodation provides an indulgent galley. 'GUSTO's' original cooker has been replaced with a Nelson Techma cooker with oven, separate grill, and 2 burner hob. Deep stainless steel sinks are fitted, together with a top-access refrigerator, including ice box, ample lockers, and worktop space.

Good across-cabin ventilation is provided by opening windows above the galley and navigation area.

Aft heads compartment to starboard of companionway with sea toilet (provided with a holding tank) and stylish hand basin/mirror unit.

Hot air cabin heating through Webasto 3.2kW unit.

Hot and cold water system with immersion heater and calorifier. AC electrical system including battery charger, ring main, RCD, and polarity indicator. Radio/CD player.

Mechanical And Electrical Systems

Volvo Penta 2003, indirectly cooled marine diesel, rated at 28 BHP. Driving a fixed, two-blade propeller through a conventional stainless steel propeller shaft. Deep sea seal stern gland. Stainless steel rope cutter fitted.

Reported cruising speed: 6 knots.

2 off 110 A/Hr batteries. M200 Smart charger. Nasa digital battery monitor.
