Accommodation

External overview:
Large open cockpit with the flybridge forming a solid roof, canopy curtains to both sides and across the aft, and the canopy rolls and stores in special overhead lockers for ease of use.

The cockpit is designed to provide safe access with steps on both sides to the decks, a port side transom door to the bathing platform, and good-sized steps to the flybridge with handrails.

Cockpit wet bar is fitted with an electric barbeque and fridge. The 42/5 has the benefit of SECS (Sealine Extending Cockpit System) allowing the cockpit to be extended and the press of a button. The cockpit seating and bathing platform extend aft to increase the cockpit in size by around 3ft making a superb entertaining space. As the platform goes with the seating there is no need to remove the tender and the platform can still be used for swimming.

The flybridge has a sociable layout with seating along the starboard side and forward-facing aft seating ahead of the rear sunpad. The port side twin helm seating can be rotated to face the starboard side seating increasing the social space and feeling.

Interior Accommodation (2-Cabin Version):
The interior is finished with high-gloss cherry veneer and accented with leather and high-quality hardware. Light and airy saloon with starboard side curved leather seating around an extending table, and to port has a folding table top that can be used for cocktails or dining. A club chair with an ottoman can be drawn tableside, and a built-in entertainment centre houses a stereo system and a flat-screen TV.

The galley is a step-down, finished with a teak-and-holly sole and outfitted with a stainless-steel sink, a microwave, gas hob, oven, and dual-voltage refrigeration. Overhead bin-style stowage and cleverly designed pullout cabinets enhance access. Fitted glassware and bottle stowage keep things in place. In-sole stowage is fitted with a fiberglass liner and is suited for cruising stores.

A raised interior helm station with deep, automotive-style seating provides a comfortable steering position in inclement weather. Full instrumentation and good visibility ahead and of controls.

Below, a portion of the mid-cabin tucks beneath the helm. The cabin has two single berths that can be joined to make a double. The stateroom can also function as an office and is equipped with a small vanity/desk. The head/shower is easily accessible making it useful as a day head.

The master cabin is forward, with a queen island berth and a private en-suite head with a separate shower cubicle.
