This is an exceptional opportunity to purchase a living piece of history! S/Y Seraph was built in Denmark, and launched from a shipyard outside Copenhagen in 1906, as a ketch-rigged fishing vessel with no engine. She was as a “buy boat”, meaning she would go out to the fishing trawlers to buy their catch and then sell it at market. She had a wet hull - plugs in her side let the North Sea in keep the fish fresh. In the early 20s, she was fitted with an engine; in a fishing town in northern Denmark She had been modified and updated over the years, and now offers something quite unique. She has 2 x electric heads, a generator, 3 phase electric windlass (with a 100m of chain), a sail wardrobe of approx 15 sails (including main, mizzen stay sails, fore sails, jib, full gollywobbler, and a range of top sails including jack yard top sail, and a mizzen top sail).......she even has 2 x solar panels!! She also comes with 2 x tenders, 50 pax life raft, 50 life jackets, plus additional safety gear. An early viewing is highly recommended!
