Since then she has hardly been used and has been dry stored in a garage most of the time. She does not appear to have opened up in a significant way and her paint and varnish are in as new condition. Unusual double ender design which is not commonly seen in small dinghies. McGruers built a few of these over the years and they have become highly sought after. Clinker planked in larch all copper fastened to closely spaced steamed oak timbers. Finished in gloss white externally and smart varnish throughout internally. Mahogany rubbing strake all round with a heavy rope fender fastened through the sheer strake. Varnished mahogany thwarts and sole boards. The work that was done in 1992 was to a very high standard as can be seen by the very exact manor in which the sole boards are fitted. Oak knees on the thwarts and in the breast hook. All bronze fittings including rowlocks and rowlock holders for two rowing positions. She has a lovely pair of leather clad spruce spoon blade sweeps. This is a delightful little dinghy in absolutely magnificent condition, a very rare design and highly sought after. Trailer available by separate negotiation
