The Koopmans/Hutting 40 is built by Molenmaker & Mantel and finished by Hutting Yachts. Because of her continuous keel she is very comfortable in (rough) seas. The (stainless) cockpit is sheltered by her fixed spray hood and well positioned with everything within reach of the helmsman.

Classic Koopmans/Hutting 40 with excellent sailing characteristics and equipped with lots of storage space.

The Koopmans/Hutting 40 is built by Molenmaker & Mantel and finished by Hutting Yachts. Because of her continuous keel she is very comfortable in (rough) seas. The (stainless) cockpit is sheltered by her fixed spray hood and well positioned with everything within reach of the helmsman. The deck is spacious and equipped with good anti-slip mats. The interior is light through the many portholes and deck hatches. The solid teak floor immediately catches the eye which gives a nice atmosphere and also under an incline a good anti-slip. On port side we find the galley a large cardanic Force 10 3-burner stove, with spacious worktop and double stainless steel sink. There is no longer a boiler, but the cutouts and taps have been prepared for its return. Also here is the door to the storage room in the stern and access to the engine room.
To starboard is the Heads with shower and with electric toilet. Also access to the storage room under the cockpit. The navigation table is equipped with various built-in equipment such as VHF, AIS, Radar and GPS and control panel.

The L-shaped sofa has a cozy sitting area with a large folding table, to starboard the sofa is easily transformed into a swing bed. All around, every corner has been used and there are many cupboard spaces. The Heatpol stove provides a cozy atmosphere during the cold evenings. In the bow we have a 2-person bed on the port side with storage space under the mattresses with various drawer units and cupboard spaces. Next to this is a make-up table. In the front we find the 2nd (vacuum) toilet, various storage options and the anchor locker.

This Hutting 40 is very suitable for long stays on board and her shallow draft gives her an enormous sailing area. Make an appointment for a viewing!
