Vessel Walkthrough

Hylas brand is well known for it solid, no core, fiberglass hull and beautiful woodwork throughout, over sized rigging for stability and safety. This particular Hylas 46 has been outfitted with many extras, such as customized lithium battery banks, stout electric davit system, bow thruster, Grunnert Refrigeration/Freezer system, electric heads and more. Being a center cockpit, she has a large aft, full beam master stateroom. The step down sugar scoops makes anchoring in the islands enjoyable. The 63’ mast and 6’6” draft makes her ICW friendly. Her beautiful dark blue hull and creamy tan canvas make her a head turner in the marina and under way. (Note: This vessel was well protected during hurricane Ian and incurred no damage)

Stepping aboard the first thing you will notice is this vessel looks and feels like a newer boat. You can tell she has been well cared for and in excellent condition. The teak is all solid and properly coated to have a rich coloring. The center cockpit is well protected with Bimini and dodger that look new with clear isinglass enclosure. She is set up to sail shorthanded with in boom furling, electric winches and side power bow thruster, state of the art almost new B&G electronics and more. The recently added Simpson electric davit system is just one example of the little things that will make life aboard easy and enjoyable. Once you go below, you will feel like you are in a much larger than 46 foot vessel. There is a lot of light from tinted port lights throughout, high head room with a light-colored headliner and beautiful, hand-crafted woodwork. Tons of storage and very comfortable furniture with clean upholstery. The teak and holly sole runs throughout the boat and in beautiful condition. All LED lighting throughout. The engine room is clean with many access doors, so very easy to maintain. Only 1700 hours on the Yanmar engine and just over 625 hours on the Northern Lights generator. There have been a lot of new items in the past few years that have ensured her maintenance upkeep as well as upgrades.

This vessel is truly ready to go! All pictures were taken at the time of this listing.
