Boat Overview

The Hunter 34 was introduced in late 1982 as a fast cruising vessel, with over 800 units sold in the following three years. Hunter aimed to create an entry-level boat that was enjoyable to sail while maximizing space at a competitive price. Models from 1985 and earlier received enhancements such as increased ballast, a high-performance rudder, and a 22 hp Yanmar 3GMF fresh water-cooled diesel engine, improving quality and maintenance compared to earlier versions.

The U-shaped galley is aft to starboard, while the nav desk is to port with chart storage and a liquor cabinet. The aft double cabin includes a locker, vanity, and storage compartment.
