DESCRIPTION

Beautifully appointed, 6-berth cruising yacht with inboard Nanni diesel. Standing and running rigging all replaced in October 2023. White hi-gloss topsides with smart burgundy hull striping with matching canvas work including sprayhood and full cockpit enclosure. Deck stepped spars with laundered mainsail, genoa and storm sail. Electronic navigation aids include speed/depth/log, wind speed/direction, colour Lowrance plotter, MLR GPS, Simrad RD68 DSC VHF and Simrad wheel pilot.

Mechanical

Vessel powered by a very economical and reliable Nanni D3.75HE inboard diesel engine.
This 21hp, fresh water cooled unit is located in a soundproofed compartment beneath the companionway steps. The engine has been regularly maintained with most recent in November 2023.
Reduction gearbox driving stainless steel shaft and 3-bladed fixed propeller. Stern gland and cutlass bearing replaced in October 2022.

Engine start panel in the cockpit with key start, rev counter and hour meter.
Single lever engine control mounted on the binnacle. Engine control stripped, lubricated and reassembled in July 2022.
Bank of three, 12V batteries providing engine start and domestic power. The batteries are recharged via the new solar panel, the onboard smart charger or the engine alternator.
Battery isolators located in the cockpit locker and fitted with a coupler.

Accommodation

Below decks is bright, spacious and welcoming. Lovely varnished cabinet work with nautical blue fabrics covering generous upholstery. Smart teak and holly effect laminate flooring.
Saloon entered from the companionway. To port and aft is the double berthed aft cabin with large berth. Hanging and shelved wardrobes and open storage shelf along the hull. 12V deck head and reading lights.
Returning to the saloon you will find the galley. Generous storage and preparation areas. Gas-fueled, gimballed Eno oven with 2-burner hob. Stainless steel sink with pressurised hot and cold fresh water via mixer tap. Top loading fridge with drain and ice compartment.
Opposite galley is the chart table with chart storage, drawer and cupboard. 12V switch panel with tank and battery monitors. Chart reading light, Navtex and CD/Radio player.
Aft of the chart table is the spacious heads compartment. Moulded sink with pull out shower faucet. Wet locker, shower pump out and opening port. Brand new Jabsco sea toilet with new sanatory hoses. pump housing.
The saloon has a central table with a drop leaf to starboard. Central bottle storage. Well upholstered settee/berths port and starboard with storage below and behind. open shelved storage. Fixed portlights. Opening ports in coach roof.
Bow cabin with V-Berth. Storage units port and starboard. 12V lighting and an opening deck hatch.

Diesel fired cabin heating extends the season and increases comfort on board.

GRP Constructed yacht built by Dufour in late 2001 and launched in 2002.
1.54M, cast iron fin keel with aft swept bulb. Counter hung semi-balanced rudder.
3-bladed propeller protected by a skeg. Stainless steel shaft fitted with rope cutter.
White hi-gloss topsides with burgundy hull decals. Topsides polished in October 2023.
GRP deck and superstructure finished in non slip. Deck moulding incorporates anchor mount.
Large self-bailing cockpit with access to bathing platform.
Huge locker storage to starboard. Separate self-draining and vented gas locker.
Stainless steel bow and stern rails connected by stanchions and double set guard wires.
Large self-bailing anchor locker fitted with strong point and manual windlass.
Raised coachroof with portlights and opening deck hatch for natural light and ventilation.
Stainless steel grab handles and life raft cradle fitted to the coachroof.
